The Gambling Commission of Malta is an independent regulatory authority for the gaming industry in Malta. It was established by the Gaming Act (Chapter 440) and commenced its operations on 1 January 2005. The Commission's primary objective is to ensure that all sectors of the gambling industry operate within a safe, fair, competitive and economically sound framework.
