The Gambling Commission of Alderney (GCA) is the regulatory authority for gambling in the Channel Islands. It was created by statute, with effect from 1 January 2005 and became operational on 1 April 2005. The GCA's main function is to regulate and license all forms of gambling activity in Alderney, as well as ensuring that operators comply with relevant international standards and best practice.
